About Peaks and Pines

Peaks and Pines LLC was founded in 2023 by Michelle and Cameron Farrell, two Northern Nevada natives with a deep love for the Sierra Nevadas and the natural world that surrounds them. Michelle grew up in Carson City, while Cameron was raised in nearby Gardnerville — together they share a lifelong connection to the mountains, valleys, and wide-open spaces of the region. After spending a decade teaching in Taiwan and Myanmar, they returned to the Carson Valley in 2023 with a shared vision: to build a business that captures the beauty of the Sierras and brings a little piece of nature into every home.

Every candle in the Sierra Scents line is named after a beloved place in the Sierras and hand-poured right here in the Carson Valley using clean fragrances that are phthalate-free and a coconut apricot wax blend. From the first pour to the final label, each candle is crafted with care and intention.

Beyond candles, Peaks and Pines offers a curated collection of handcrafted earrings — wearable art inspired by the gradients and colors found in nature. The collection also includes aroma stones and aroma cones that combine natural elements with essential oils, bringing the tranquility of the outdoors in with a simple, beautiful piece of art.
